This role will be based out of Sunnyvale, CA or San Francisco, CA. The work location is hybrid, performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

As a (West) Regional Manager for Large Enterprise Account Directors, you will lead a team that sells solutions addressing talent objectives and challenges spanning planning, hiring, skilling, and career development for our largest and most complex customers. You will manage our most tenured Account Directors who sell to large enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a focused sales strategy to renew and expand the customer base for Large Enterprise customers. Leverage internal and external relationships to open doors to new strategic opportunities.
  • Compassionately manage and coach seasoned sales professionals and senior cross-functional partners.
  • Drive a culture of forecasting excellence and prepare and present accurate sales forecasts to senior management.
  • Prioritize initiatives, create team focus, and ensure use of systems, tools, sales processes, and methodologies (CRM, Gong, VEM, etc.).
  • Directly manage day-to-day operations of the team with the ability to scale, handle escalations, and participate in all aspects of the sales cycle to ensure customer and member satisfaction.
  • Mentor and develop the team including recruiting, hiring, training, and compassionate performance management of new Large Enterprise Account Directors, with emphasis on coaching and alignment with Value Engagement and Blueprint methodologies.
  • Build and foster cross-functional partnerships.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define segment strategy and lead high-impact initiatives to fuel growth.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills across all channels.
  • Travel up to 20% as required.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of sales management experience or 4+ years' experience supporting Large Enterprise or Global clients.
  • 6+ years of quota-carrying sales experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to hold personal and team accountability for operating priority and revenue-based results.
  • Experience in a Team/POD-selling environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals.
  • Experience managing and motivating senior sellers, including remote employees.
  • Experience selling to large enterprise clients in a competitive environment and leading teams through change.
  • Ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships.
  • Human Capital Management industry expertise and thought leadership.
  • Deep knowledge of sales methodologies and metrics; experience hiring, onboarding, and developing seasoned Account Directors.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM tools and the ability to manage sales activities.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills with the ability to guide others.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Experience assessing and addressing team engagement, wellness, and satisfaction.

Benefits & Compensation

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $236,000 to 360,000 OTE. Actual compensation is based on factors including skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
