Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Design, Operations, and other engineering teams to develop a technical roadmap that aligns with customer and business needs. Coach, develop, retain, and provide feedback to team members. Maintain high technical standards with a focus on longevity and simplicity. Foster a team culture centered on innovation, accountability, empathy, and execution. Coordinate with other engineering leaders across Affirm. What we look for A drive to improve consumer financial services. Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 8+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ years in management. Successful track record in architecting, building, launching, and scaling financial products. Ability to scale and foster a high-performing engineering team. Strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills. Analytical rigor, innovative mindset, obsession with product excellence, and agility. Card network experience is a plus. Compensation and Benefits Base Pay Grade: P Equity Grade: 13 Base salary ranges: $200,000 - $275,000 depending on location, with additional benefits including equity, health coverage, stipends, and time off.
