CCIA seeks an experienced policy professional to support the Association’s advocacy for procompetitive spectrum and satellite policy in the Americas. An ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with experience in spectrum and space regulatory proceedings. This role has hybrid work posture requiring in-office presence. The manager will report to the Director of the Center. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supporting CCIA’s Space and Spectrum Policy Center to further public policy goals and outreach on behalf of member companies; Researching and assisting in preparation of regulatory and/or policy development comments, research and advocacy papers, pertaining to space and spectrum issues; Building and maintaining relationships with lawmakers having jurisdiction over or interest in the various aspects of spectrum and satellite policy; Minimum Qualifications: Three to five years’ experience in federal regulatory affairs. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, including persuasive and analytical writing and public speaking. The ideal candidate will also possess: A U.S. juris doctor; Experience working with relevant government agencies formulating or implementing space and/or spectrum policy; Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex issues into simple explanations; Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills; and An ability to work autonomously and prioritize multiple projects.
