Medical Science Liaison, Neuropsychiatry (Baltimore, MD) Join to apply for the Medical Science Liaison, Neuropsychiatry (Baltimore, MD) role at Bristol Myers Squibb . **Location:** Mid-Atlantic (Maryland, Washington DC, Delaware) The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role embodies our medical mission to be recognized as the trusted partner for internal stakeholders and the healthcare community, driving scientific exchange to enhance medical education, data generation, insight generation, and patients' access to medicine. The MSL is responsible for identifying disease and product related medical needs in a defined geography, developing and maintaining relationships with Thought Leaders (TL) and Healthcare Providers (HCP) within their territory, and engaging in meaningful scientific exchange aligned with medical strategies and needs. Responsibilities include: Developing relationships with academic and community research TLs, HCPs, and access stakeholders. Presenting scientific information effectively and ensuring medical accuracy and compliance. Assessing the medical landscape and updating knowledge on treatment strategies, clinical trials, and the competitive landscape. Partnering with HCPs on disease initiatives, research projects, and investigator-sponsored research. Attending medical congresses and regional meetings to gather and communicate medical insights. Contributing to Medical Plan: Developing geography-specific Field Medical and TL Interaction plans. Supporting the development and delivery of medical programs. Providing Medical Support: Supporting internal teams with scientific updates and training. Supporting promotional meetings with scientific data presentations. Supporting Clinical Trial Activities: Facilitating patient recruitment and discussions around investigational products. Providing insights on study feasibility and supporting investigator-sponsored research. Qualifications: Advanced degree in medical/biosciences (MD, PhD, PharmD, etc.) with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Experience in psychiatry, mental health, or schizophrenia, with proven relationship-building skills. Knowledge & Experience: Knowledge of disease area, clinical trials, and healthcare environment. Minimum 2 years in a clinical or pharmaceutical setting. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently. Additional Requirements: Ability to drive a company vehicle is essential. Travel required within the territory. The compensation range is $150,000 - $200,000 plus incentives. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, and other perks.
