Medical Science Liaison Amplity has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our team of National US MSLs. Utilize your MSL experience as we grow our team. Job Summary The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will serve as a key scientific resource for healthcare professionals, including nephrologists, endocrinologists, and cardiologists, focusing on the importance of vaccines for preventable diseases, health system mapping, and other duties as needed. The MSL will engage in clinical discussions, understand healthcare systems and their complexities, traveling within the designated region weekly. This role requires a strong background in the pharmaceutical field, understanding the complexities of healthcare systems and experience in an MSL or MSL-like role.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately $195K - $208K. The salary range displayed may vary based on market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills, prior relevant experience, certain degrees, certifications, and other relevant factors.
Key Responsibilities
Engage in detailed clinical discussions with nephrologists, endocrinologists, and cardiologists to provide scientific insights on the importance of vaccines for preventable diseases.
Health system mapping.
Understand healthcare systems, including their complexities and operational dynamics, to effectively communicate and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals within the region.
Travel weekly within the region and to attend conferences and meetings.
Provide scientific support to internal teams to ensure accurate and effective communication of scientific information.
Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory and company policies.
Qualifications
Degree from an accredited university or college required.
PharmD, Ph.D., MSN, NP, RN with relevant clinical backgrounds and pharmaceutical field experience.
Pharmaceutical experience required in an MSL or MSL-like role.
Experience in cardiology, nephrology, or endocrinology desired.
Recognition of the role of vaccines in the management of treatable diseases.
Effective synthesis, interpretation, and distillation of large quantities of clinical information to key stakeholders and HCPs.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and the ability to ensure compliance in all activities.
Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritizing tasks to achieve goals promptly and effectively.
Adept at navigating complex health systems and ecosystems.
Understanding of vaccines and their importance in various therapeutic areas.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
Willingness to travel weekly within the region and nationally for meetings.
Must pass all product and compliance training.
Valid driving license with a safe driving record.

Credentialing Requirements As a representative of a pharmaceutical company, you may be required to submit and maintain credentials, such as training, vaccinations, and other job-related documentation to gain access to hospitals or healthcare providers. The Company expects you to comply with the requirements outlined by the facilities on your call plans. Certain geographic jurisdictions or hospital systems may require applying for and obtaining a representative license. Currently, representatives working in the District of Columbia, City of Chicago, State of Nevada, State of Oregon, or those associated with Jackson Memorial Health in Miami-Dade County, Florida may be required to obtain specific licenses. This list may change, including potential additions or modifications. You will be notified of significant changes.
