The Importance of the Role
The MSL will play a pivotal role in educating healthcare professionals (HCPs) about Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy, as well as Sarepta's therapeutics and pipeline. Reporting to the West Region Team Leader, the MSL is expected to be an expert in Neurology/Pediatrics and a scientific resource regarding Sarepta's products. The role involves engaging with key opinion leaders, investigators, and physician networks, and contributing to MSL process and policy development, KOL strategy, and tactical planning.
This position requires the incumbent to be located in the Northwest, covering Northern CA, OR, WA, and AK.
The Opportunity to Make a Difference Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and institutions
Implement KOL strategies, speaker development, and support
Lead medical education efforts through proactive scientific communication
Present scientific data to healthcare professionals at various venues
Support clinical operations and site assessments
Represent medical affairs at scientific meetings
Develop expertise in Duchenne muscular dystrophy through literature review and conference participation
Support medical and commercial strategies
More about You
MD, PhD, PharmD, or NP/PA preferred
5+ years of MSL experience a plus
Familiarity with industry and regulatory guidelines
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Existing Neurology/Pediatrics relationships are a plus; experience in immunology or gene therapy is advantageous
Willing to travel >50%
Experience in clinical trial design, data interpretation, and medical marketing
High integrity, sense of urgency, strong communication, and negotiation skills

This position is hybrid, requiring onsite work at Sarepta facilities in the U.S. and occasional attendance at company events. The salary range is $0 - $0 per year, with compensation based on experience and internal equity. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sarepta offers competitive benefits.
