The firm’s growing IP team requires a mid-level to senior-level associate or patent agent to provide patent counseling, portfolio management, and strategic IP advice. Duties: Counsel clients on intellectual property strategy and best practices in patent law. Lead patent prosecution activities, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications. Manage and prosecute a global patent portfolio, coordinating with foreign counsel for international filings. Conduct in-depth IP due diligence, including patentability assessments, freedom-to-operate analyses, and infringement or invalidity opinions. Collaborate with inventors, technical experts, and patent portfolio managers to develop strategic solutions for clients. Provide detailed and actionable advice on patent rights, and IP protection strategies. Advise clients on licensing opportunities, enforcement strategies, and IP risk management.
