Director, CFO Services - Digital Finance
OVERVIEW:
A&M's Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) practice collaborates with private equity portfolio companies to provide solutions that preserve and generate value. Our focus is on enhancing transparency in key drivers and business performance, supporting increased cash flow and EBITDA, and actively engaging in our clients' operations. We aim to ensure portfolio companies have credible plans and the capacity to execute and deliver financial results.

PEPI CFO Services Director, Digital Finance:
PROFESSIONAL EXPECTATIONS
Expertise in Digital Finance Transformation with proven implementation experience
Track record in assessing finance and accounting functions and implementing digital technologies such as RPA, Finance Analytics, NLG, and Predictive Forecasting models to improve efficiency and transparency
Experience in process improvement and automation within finance and accounting
Knowledge of digital finance tools and vendors
Experience implementing digital finance solutions in large public companies or mid-sized PE portfolio companies
Ability to develop and build predictive forecasting models
Scope Development & Hypothesis:
Engage with clients to gather information and facilitate interviews
Define analyses to validate assumptions, ensuring completeness and accuracy
Apply industry and functional knowledge to identify business drivers and issues
Develop project frameworks and actionable conclusions
Project Management & Leadership:
Lead project components and smaller projects independently
Manage client expectations and mitigate risks
Create actionable plans and lead workstreams
Design initiatives to improve cash flow, EBITDA, and organizational structure
Identify risks early, develop contingency plans, and communicate effectively with clients
Collaborate with senior management and secure buy-in
Leadership & Financial Acumen:
Leverage industry expertise to guide teams and promote innovation
Manage client relationships throughout projects
Ensure accountability for issues and outcomes
Build effective teams based on individual talents
Proficiency in financial modeling, statement analysis, and accounting treatments
Drive P&L and B/S accountability
Utilize tools for change management and process streamlining
Qualifications:
Degree from an accredited university in accounting, finance, or economics preferred but not mandatory
Experience with digital finance technologies like RPA, predictive forecasting, analytics, NLG, data visualization
Over 12 years in finance, accounting, due diligence, restructuring, investment banking, or private equity
Proficiency in financial models, data analytics, and presentation skills
CPA, CFA, MBA, or Master’s degree preferred but not required
