As a Pharmacy Customer Support Specialist (Remote-Hybrid), you will assist healthcare providers, including doctors, hospitals, and pharmacies, with prescription coverage verifications. This role starts with processing inbound faxes and verifying prescription details before transitioning to provider phone support in a call center setting.

Responsibilities:
Process inbound faxes from healthcare providers regarding prescription approvals
Verify prescription details (e.g., provider info, patient data, medication dosage) and follow up for missing information
Accurately enter prescription requests into the system for processing
Handle inbound provider calls (approx. 20 per day) regarding prescription approvals and coverage
Ensure data accuracy by following structured workflows and company procedures
Communicate professionally with healthcare professionals
Attend fully paid on-site training for the first month, followed by a remote-hybrid schedule with monthly in-office team-building days
Must-Have Requirements:
6+ months of customer service experience (call center preferred, but other customer-facing roles considered)
Strong verbal communication skills to interact professionally with healthcare providers
Excellent attention to detail for verifying prescription and patient information
Preferred Skills:
Experience handling high-volume calls in a customer service or call center setting
Familiarity with medical or pharmacy terminology
Basic proficiency with database entry and electronic records systems
