Salary: Swift Navigation is hiring. We are the market leader in automotive precision GNSS and have been awarded programs for over 10 million ADAS-enabled and autonomous vehicles worldwide across 20+ automotive OEMs & suppliers, as well as multiple mobile handset OEMs. Our flagship service is Skylark, a 24/7 GNSS corrections service that enables centimeter-level navigation safely. Skylark includes a global GNSS station network, redundant data center architecture, and advanced monitoring algorithms to ensure 99.9% availability and fewer than 1 failure per 1,142 years of driving. We process 1.4 billion satellite signals per hour to support our scale. We are seeking a Cloud Architect to develop our cloud infrastructure and services for our global GNSS corrections service, supporting millions of concurrent users. Your expertise will enhance the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our services, maintaining our leadership in high-precision autonomous navigation. Responsibilities Lead the design of scalable, high-availability GNSS correction cloud services supporting over 8 million users, with plans to expand to hundreds of millions. Design and oversee high-reliability, cost-optimized services used in safety-critical applications. Develop external service APIs for customer integration. Architect systems for real-time ingestion, processing, and analysis of GNSS data streams. Ensure security and safety standards, maintaining certifications like ISO26262, ISO27001, ISO20000, ISO21434. Promote best practices in cloud security, DevOps, automation, monitoring, and deployment. Collaborate with engineering, algorithms, software development, and operations teams. Support the development and integration of new products into our cloud infrastructure. Lead migration to a multi-tenant, scalable cloud architecture, including CI/CD, telemetry, and diagnostics systems. Required Skills Extensive experience designing and managing scalable cloud services on AWS, GCP, or Azure. Deep understanding of distributed systems, algorithms, data structures, and database management. Proficiency with Kubernetes and infrastructure as code tools. Strong communication skills for leading technical discussions. Knowledge of security protocols and secure cloud architecture. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to lead through uncertainty and foster teamwork. High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills. Continuous learner mindset. Preferred Skills Experience with high-reliability production infrastructure, especially in automotive or similar sectors. Familiarity with CI/CD, Agile, and automation practices. Knowledge of GNSS or real-time sensor networks. Experience with regulated industries and relevant standards. Proficiency in C++, Go, Rust, and Python. Experience with system testing and validation.
