Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, Tableau Developer In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies . Responsibilities Development of Dashboards and Ad-hoc reporting using Tableau. Closely work with Customers on their requirements and convert into solution. Lead & guide the team and work efficiently. Design & build end to end architecture for providing solutioning. Actively participate in knowledge augmentation initiatives. Actively responsive on customer ask and mitigate all kinds of issues. Upgrade and Install Tableau Software Plan and execute patches, minor and major release upgrades for Tableau Products. Create/manage Tableau Projects/Tableau metadata in various environments to facilitate development and testing. Maintain Project and object level security, consistent with project requirements in consultation with senior administrator, architects and project teams. Implement Change management processes to migrate Tableau projects and objects between QA, UAT and Production environment. Manage Cube builds, refreshes and monitoring. Work closely with report domains architects and suggest configuration and process changes to improve the reliability, scalability, and supportability of Tableau environment. Maintain Scripts and documentation related to Product suite. Maintain Data recovery and Backup. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications BE/B Tech/MCA Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications/ Skills Extensive Tableau Implementation and Architecting experience including latest version Strong experience in Tableau Development, enhancement, and Migration. Excellent understanding of tool functions, limitations, and hidden features Tableau server installation and configuring/ administration, added advantage Experience with creation of users, groups, projects, workbooks and the appropriate permission sets for Tableau server logons and security checks Understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices Strong Snowflake/SQL reporting skills with the ability to create SQL views and write SQL queries to build custom datasets for reporting or analysis Strong understanding of Snowflake cloud database and associated connectors.
