Our Perth office will become an important hub in our network, and we are looking for talented engineers to help grow this new location from the ground up. The Opportunity Step into a career-defining role as Principal Electrical Engineer – Secondary, reporting to the Manager, Secondary Design (Adelaide based). You will help establish and grow our new Perth engineering team, while providing hands-on design expertise and leadership in delivering high-voltage substation projects that support Australia’s renewable energy and utility sectors. Deliver timely, accurate technical designs for secondary protection and control (PAC) systems in the high-voltage utility and renewable sectors; lead complex internal and external secondary system design projects and check outputs. Foster a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment to support team capability growth and embed CPP in our newest location. Undertake interstate travel to offices and project sites to build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Desired Skills and Experience About You Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or equivalent; Chartered Status (or ability to achieve upon commencement). 10+ years of experience in the HV power transmission industry. Demonstrated experience leading complex secondary systems design projects in the HV electrical industry. Natural leadership qualities and the ability to bring out the best in others. Based in Perth or willing to relocate (relocation assistance available for interstate candidates). Experience with MiCom, Digsilent, Power Factory, PSSE is highly regarded.
