Responsibilities
Lead program management and localization strategies for events you oversee, including Sales Kickoff.
Collaborate with senior and executive leadership to define event objectives, target audiences, and desired outcomes.
Lead and develop event strategies and experiences with key stakeholders to align with product roadmaps, messaging pillars, business priorities and executive vision.
Communicate objectives, status, and updates to team members and stakeholders on a regular basis.
Directly manage and inspire internal and external cross-functional teams supporting customer-facing event programs.
Understand customer needs and design in-person and digital events to meet those needs and achieve business objectives for internal and external audiences.
Use a data-driven approach to build insights and strategies; be an expert in event measurement and ROI tracking.
Design engaging event experiences reflecting the company’s values and continuously improve attendee experience through feedback mechanisms.
Address issues during events with quick and effective resolutions.
Demonstrate contract negotiation skills and experience.
Design and build operational structures and processes to ensure team efficiency while coordinating globally to meet deadlines.
Continually align and evolve event program strategies to the needs of the business.
Manage and evaluate agency partners to create best-in-class experiences.
Manage complex event budgets, including monetization, revenue modeling, risk mitigation, and timely invoice reconciliation.
Communicate effectively to help build and tell the ROI story of events.
Be a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can anticipate challenges.

Qualifications
10+ years of experience in event marketing roles, with SaaS or brand-side experience a plus.
5+ years of experience in a high-growth enterprise technology environment.
Excellent written and presentation skills for senior and executive audiences.
Direct experience owning and producing varied-sized event programs with strong attention to detail.
Experience across event marketing domains including execution, content, tech, production, and audience acquisition.
Experience managing complex event strategies and portfolio frameworks.
Compensation At Atlassian, we design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. The base pay range for new hires in the United States is provided by geographic pay zones:
Zone A: $156,600 - $204,450
Zone B: $141,300 - $184,475
Zone C: $130,500 - $170,375
This role may be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity. Please consult with your recruiter for the specific zone and location.
