What you’ll do
- Serve as technical subject matter expert for customers and internal teams on all aspects of integration between Udemy Business and other SaaS applications; e.g., Web Single Sign-On, API and API-based integrations, external analytics, and reporting data streams.
- Create documentation such as code samples, integration articles and tutorials for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Create/Manage open source projects in partnerships with Sales and Solutions Engineering colleagues.
- Become a key contributor to Udemy’s community engagement for UB customers.
- Implement and document solutions that leverage Udemy Business Web Services (REST APIs and xAPIs) with 3rd party SaaS applications.
- Support partners with use case definition, technical architecture, solutioning and deployment of Udemy Business within their business models and tech stack.
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Product Engineering, Legal, Information Security to improve integration services and product security messaging.
- Address technical issues from authentication protocols (SAML, OIDC, SCIM, OAuth) to corporate web proxy debugging and API-based integration support for enterprise customers.
What you’ll have
- Experience with HR/HCM and Learning ecosystem solutions.
- 6-8+ years in enterprise Sales Engineering or Solution Consulting in a SaaS organization.
- Technical experience with microservices, data structures, algorithms, and IaaS (e.g., AWS).
- Working knowledge of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, PL/SQL).
- Solid understanding of authentication protocols (SAML 2.0, SCIM, OAuth/OpenID Connect), Web APIs, SMTP, DNS, and debugging Web applications.
- Passionate about AI/ML to drive innovation with prospects and customers; opportunity to work with genAI technologies to achieve business outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to overcome technical and security objections in customer integrations.
- Understanding of core security concepts (SSL/TLS, encryption, data privacy like LGPD/GDPR).
- Hands-on experience architecting or deploying SSO with SAML 2.0, OIDC, SCIM, and directory services across identity solutions (e.g., Okta, Azure AD FS, Ping…).
Role specifics
Location: India. You will collaborate with engineering, design, sales, customer success, support, and global stakeholders to support our business and customers.
- Gather and define customer use cases and provide technical architecture, solutioning, and deployment guidance for Udemy Business within customer ecosystems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and tutorials for customers and internal teams.
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve integration services and product security messaging.

OTE compensation range: $217,000 - $256,000 USD; base salary plus equity and uncapped OTE. In addition to base compensation, this role may include equity and performance-based incentives.
