Principal Service Engineer IS, Supply Chain (Virtual) role at Providence Health & Services. The role focuses on delivering exceptional IS equipment services to caregivers by collaborating with 3rd Party Logistics Partners, End User Support, and internal ServiceNow and Oracle teams. The candidate should have a background in continuous improvement, AI-driven user experiences, and streamlining hardware fulfillment processes including IT asset disposition (ITAD), project-based orders, imaging, and ServiceNow data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with 3rd Party Logistics Partners, End User Support, ServiceNow, and Oracle teams to deliver IS equipment services to caregivers.
- Drive transformation of IT service delivery at scale with a focus on continuous improvement and AI-driven user experiences.
- Streamline hardware fulfillment processes including IT asset disposition, project-based orders, imaging, and maintaining ServiceNow data integrity.
- Participate in backlog discussions and standups to establish prioritization of Live Site requirements.
- Use data and metrics to drive behavior, process, and priority decisions.
- Perform advanced problem solving, including root cause analysis and resilience modeling for service outages.
- Support automation related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes and work with multi-tier solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent education/experience.
- 8+ years of related experience.
- Strong experience translating customer and technical requirements into service architecture to meet QoS expectations.
- Experience leading and representing the Service in backlog discussions and prioritization of Live Site requirements.
- Experience leveraging data and metrics to drive decisions.
- Strong logical and analytical skills with problem-solving abilities including root cause analysis.
- Experience in automation related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes.
- Experience with n-tier solutions and resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and simulating outages.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience in a Healthcare environment.
- 8+ years of IS Engineering experience.
- PMP Certification.
- Agile development experience.
