Overview Join to apply for the Relationship Analyst role at Wellington Management. The Analyst role is in the Americas Institutional Group (AIG) within the Client Platform Institutional Sales team, focusing on the Western US region. The Analyst, based in San Francisco, will work closely with Consultant Relations Managers, Business Developers, and Relationship Managers to deliver exceptional client service and to drive business development with clients and consultants.
Responsibilities Work with the AIG-West team on a portfolio of assigned consultant and client accounts; coordinate prospect reporting, presentations, account maintenance, and ad hoc requests.
Prepare high-impact presentations of standard and customized client and prospect materials, briefings, collateral, meeting notes, and follow-ups for external meetings.
Participate in client, consultant, and prospect meetings and conference calls as appropriate.
Conduct analysis, investigations, and respond to internal and external ad-hoc inquiries on topics including portfolio and product information, investment guidelines, market trends, regulatory considerations, and fees.
Act as a point of contact for various groups within consultant and client organizations; coordinate key client communications and serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams.
Capture and maintain client data in relevant internal systems; develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects by understanding industry developments and identifying opportunities.
Qualify and coordinate Requests for Information (RFI), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQ), and Requests for Proposals (RFP), delivering responses with internal teams.
Develop understanding of Wellington Management’s investment approaches and products most relevant to the institutional channel; champion data accuracy and insight-driven reporting using the DMP for client reporting and onboarding.
Qualifications 2-3 years of relevant client service experience, preferably within the Investment Management industry. Experience with institutional clients and consultants is a plus.
Solid understanding of capital markets and/or investment products; strong intellectual curiosity.
Self-motivated, proactive, able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative global environment.
Strong analytical, attention to detail, and organizational skills; excellent communication, problem-solving, and judgment.
Professional demeanor with maturity and presence; positive attitude and growth mindset; flexible and eager to learn.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; Salesforce experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or progress toward CAIA, CFA, or MBA preferred.

Benefits Base salary range: USD 65,000 - 150,000. This range reflects factors including skills, role, certifications, and education. Other rewards may include a discretionary corporate bonus and/or incentives.
