THE ROLE The SaaS Service Delivery Manager role isrequired to ensure effective delivery of SaaS Cloud Services to the Americascustomers.
Thisrole is responsible for managing the in-life technical aspects of Cloudservices and user support. The position requires a broad range of technicalskills in managing a diverse operational environment with a focus on customerservice and operation liaison.
TheService Delivery Manager will manage multi-disciplined teams that support anadvanced infrastructure, utilizing private/public cloud, SAAS, and IAASenvironments.
OPPORTUNITIES You will discuss advocating for the customer internally and advocating for Temenos externally.
You will emphasize technical knowledge and the application of these skills during the course of the job. Need to challenge the customer where there are technical gaps in their knowledge and challenge our internal teams where we are not technically meeting the needs of our customers.
You will participate in incident calls, change reviews, and other related customer events (such as DR testing) to help manage client relations during critical events.
You will provide overall development leadership and direct product development teams in the delivery of high-quality products within committed timeframes.
You will be responsible of planning, execution, and delivery of developments/enhancements as per the committed releases, dates, and with expected quality levels.
You will work with Product Directors/Product Managers/Development Teams to define code drops and co-ordinate the alignment of code drops dependencies.
You will co-ordinate through the various teams and stakeholders for all delivery activities and act as the escalation point for all development issues specific to enhancements
You will ensure Scope changes are captured and impacts identified and managed.
You will be responsible for the overall planning of resources based on project demands.
You will manage the allocation of resources to various tasks.
You will ensure effective utilization of resources and control effort spent on overrun and support.
You will be responsible for skills management, career management, and mentoring of different project resources.
SKILLS You should have a deep technology experience is a must. The SDM cannot be lost in discussions and must be able to engage with all levels of technical resources on both sides of the fence.
You must have strong leadership skills.
You must be able to clearly define problems and articulate appropriate escalations when needed.
You must be able to maintain control of meetings that contain high-level and/or large personalities.
You must be able to navigate difficult conversations and serve as the mediator/negotiator in tense situations.
You must be able to read and understand complex customer contracts and interpret them into operating requirements.
You must be able to have a good understanding of thecloud. Foundational certification in Azure and/or AWS is preferred.
You must be able to have a good understanding of IT security frameworks, compliance standards, regulatory requirements, etc. within the banking industry.
You should have experience in ITSM Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, time management, and team skills (this is an important aspect as members of this team rely on each other's specialist knowledge in some areas).
You should be able to technically articulate with a good knowledge of infrastructure and systems and the integrations between systems as they would apply.
You must be comfortable in driving customer and cross-functional team communication and organizing information, updating requirements in JIRA (or other workstream management software).
