Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial sales leader to build our sales organization from the ground up and capture the massive opportunity in the rapidly expanding ESG market for data centers. This is a rare chance to be at the helm of a growing industry, shaping how critical infrastructure addresses climate change, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder expectations on a global scale. As our founding sales executive, you\'ll have the autonomy to design sales processes, establish market presence, and drive revenue growth while positioning Laisar as the go-to ESG partner for data center operators worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Build and lead Laisar\'s sales function from inception, establishing processes, metrics, and go-to-market strategies
Develop new business with data centers, hyperscalers, co-location providers, and technology firms across local and international markets
Identify, qualify, and close high-value opportunities through strategic outreach, networking, and industry engagement
Position Laisar\'s ESG solutions to address each client\'s sustainability, compliance, and operational efficiency needs
Deliver compelling presentations, prepare winning proposals, and lead complex sales cycles
Cultivate relationships with C-suite executives, operations leaders, and sustainability officers
Represent Laisar at industry conferences and establish thought leadership in the ESG-data center space
Design and implement sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting systems
Shape the future of how the data center industry addresses ESG challenges and opportunities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience with proven success building sales functions or leading business development
Experience in data center, infrastructure, technology, or ESG/sustainability markets strongly preferred
Track record of exceeding sales targets in consultative, solution-based environments
Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to thrive in ambiguous, high-growth environments
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Willingness to travel locally and internationally as business demands
