What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and manage the sales engineering team, providing mentorship and career development opportunities
- Collaborate with sales and R&D teams to identify customer needs and develop tailored technical solutions
- Design and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements
- Serve as a technical advisor for customers, addressing questions and concerns throughout the sales cycle
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution architectures and case studies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales engineering or a related technical role, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership capacity
- Previous experience in Cloud, TDR, CASB, DLP, or data security
- Strong knowledge of major cloud provider environments related to roles/permissions/API (AWS and/or Azure preferred)
- Proven track record of successfully leading a sales engineering team in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solution Architect, or equivalent Azure certifications
- Experience with ML/AI, Data Regulatory Frameworks, Privacy, and Data Retention programs
- Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach to customer challenges
- Willingness to travel as needed (up to 75%) to support sales efforts
