Job Title: Sales Manager – Automation & Capital Equipment Sales
Location: Remote (Candidates must be willing to travel to the San Francisco Bay Area; travel frequency depends on proximity)

Our client, a leader in automation solutions, is seeking a Sales Manager to drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities. This role involves developing and executing territory and account strategies to expand market share in the Bay Area while deepening relationships with key strategic accounts.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand existing accounts
Identify and pursue new opportunities via networking, cold calling, and industry engagement
Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals
Collaborate with technical teams to deliver customized automation solutions
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
Negotiate contracts and present compelling business cases to stakeholders
Qualifications: At least two years of direct sales experience, preferably in automation, metrology, or capital equipment
Proven success in prospecting and expanding new leads and territories
Experience selling complex technical solutions and managing high-value accounts
Hands-on automation integration experience is required
Experience managing Capex projects exceeding $10M
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Bachelor's degree required
