Overview EY is seeking a SAP Core Supply Chain – PP – QM – Senior Manager in Consulting. Location: OPEN. EY’s objective is to provide clients with a unique business perspective on how to leverage SAP technology to improve operations, rooted in EY SAP service line capabilities across Supply Chain, FICO, BPC, Data & Analytics, Customer, Tech/Arch, and SuccessFactors. The Senior Manager will interact with business stakeholders to evaluate and analyze business models, translate requirements into technical specifications, and collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver effective system architecture solutions. Your Responsibilities Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships on a daily basis. Oversee program/project management and ensure engagement economics are met. Develop resource plans and budgets for complex engagements. Lead large-scale SAP client engagements or work streams, ensuring alignment with client objectives. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and strong business acumen; stay abreast of current trends relevant to the client’s business and assimilate new knowledge. Deliver high-quality client services by monitoring progress, managing risks, and informing stakeholders of developments and outcomes. Build and maintain relationships with client personnel at all levels to foster collaboration and trust. Lead and motivate diverse teams, provide feedback and coaching, and foster an innovative, inclusive, team-oriented environment while mentoring junior consultants. Identify and generate new business opportunities by understanding EY’s service lines and proactively assessing ways to meet client needs; cultivate long-term client relationships across EY practices. Skills and Attributes for Success Understand stakeholder needs, architect solutions, blueprint, test, and complete workflow/documentation and functional design of SAP solutions; translate needs into configurations/integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems. Strong technical skills in application functional design and technology requirements definition. Ability to analyze and map technology cost-benefit scenarios; expertise in system configuration design and business architecture frameworks. Excellent communication with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively. What You Need to Qualify Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred. Typically 5–7 years of relevant experience. At least five (5) years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) in a functional consulting or system configuration role. Strong written/verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills. Experience managing SAP projects or work streams, including oversight of project-based team members. Knowledge of best practices in supply chain, benchmarking, and advisory experience related to supply chain-specific technology functions. Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies. Willingness to travel; travel estimated at 40–60%. Experience in technology cost-benefit analyses; familiarity with technology business architecture frameworks; skills in training design and delivery. Ideal Experience Prior consulting industry experience. SAP certifications. Experience as a workstream/team lead for manufacturing with SAP. Experience with at least two full lifecycle SAP ERP implementations (ECC and/or S/4HANA) focusing on SAP PP; experience with at least one full lifecycle implementation of SAP MRPlan. Experience integrating SAP PP with MES and QM; hands-on SAP PP configuration. Experience designing custom RICEF and writing functional specifications; test script development and end-user training. Knowledge of integration between SAP PP and FICO, EWM, PPDS, PLM, MDM, and MM modules; familiarity with BOM management and manufacturing operations. What We Offer You Comprehensive compensation and benefits. Base salary ranges: US locations $169,900 to $388,200; NYC Metro/Washington State/California ranges $203,900 to $441,300.
