The opportunity focuses on leveraging SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC) to enhance clients’ operational efficiency within EY’s SAP service line capabilities (Supply Chain, FICO, BPC, Data & Analytics, Customer, Tech/Arch, and SuccessFactors).

Responsibilities

Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships on DMC-related initiatives.

Oversee program/project management, ensuring engagement economics are met while delivering DMC solutions.

Develop resource plans and budgets for complex engagements involving DMC.

Lead large-scale SAP client engagements or work streams focused on DMC, aligned with client objectives.

Demonstrate deep technical capabilities within DMC and maintain strong business acumen, staying updated on industry trends.

Deliver high-quality client services by monitoring progress, managing risks, and informing stakeholders of developments and outcomes.

Build and maintain relationships with client personnel at all levels to foster collaboration and trust in EY SAP DMC initiatives.

Lead and motivate diverse teams, provide coaching, and foster an innovative and inclusive work environment.

Identify and generate new business opportunities by understanding EY’s service lines and proactively assessing how to meet client needs in the DMC space.

Skills and Attributes for Success On engagements, you will work with stakeholders to understand needs, advise on SAP DMC capabilities, gather requirements, architect solutions, blueprint, test, and document the workflow and functional design of the DMC solution. You will translate needs into business solutions and coordinate configurations and integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.

Strong technical skills in application functional design and technology requirements, specific to DMC.

Ability to analyze and map technology cost-benefit scenarios for DMC implementations.

Expertise in system configuration design and business architecture frameworks within the Digital Manufacturing Cloud space.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.

Typically 5-7 years of relevant experience.

At least 5 years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) within Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC).

Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.

Proven experience managing SAP projects or work streams with onshore and offshore teams.

Proficient in supply chain best practices within DMC, with benchmarking and advisory experience in supply chain technology functions.

Willingness to travel; travel estimated at 40-60%.

Experience with technology cost-benefit analyses and familiarity with technology business architecture frameworks.

Experience in training design and delivery.

Ideally, you’ll also have

Prior consulting experience with DMC specialization.

SAP certification(s).

Experience as a workstream/team lead for manufacturing with SAP.

Experience with multiple full lifecycle SAP ERP implementations (ECC and/or S/4HANA) focusing on PP and DMC, and at least one full lifecycle implementation of MRP.

Experience integrating SAP PP with MES, QM, EWM, DMC, and other SAP/non-SAP systems.

Hands-on SAP PP configuration experience and capability to design RICEF solutions and write functional specifications.

Experience writing and executing test scripts and delivering end-user training.

Knowledge of integration between SAP PP and FICO, EWM, PPDS, PLM, MDM, MM, and DMC across manufacturing contexts.

Understanding of production operations in complex environments and familiarity with Make to Stock and Make/Engineer/Configure to Order models.
