Responsibilities: Implement, enhance, and manage security tools and technologies to identify and protect Zoom IT assets, detect security incidents, and respond rapidly for recovery. Document security tools and systems, train Security Operations staff on tool usage, and support daily security operations. Develop and publish metrics and dashboards to demonstrate security posture and event activity. Perform system administration tasks necessary for maintaining security tool platforms, primarily on Linux-based systems. What we're looking for: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Management, or a related field, or equivalent foreign degree. At least 3 years of experience in a related occupation, including detection engineering with SIEM, data engineering, SIEM administration, and analytics. Experience managing data pipelines with Apache Kafka, AsyncMQ, and pipeline scalability. Proficiency with Linux and other operating systems. Experience with infrastructure including servers and network devices. Knowledge of Apache foundation technologies. Telecommuting permitted; the position may be based anywhere in the U.S. with no travel required.
