What you’ll be doing

  • As a Floating Sr. Account Manager, you will be assigned a sales territory based on business needs. These needs can change every 30 to 90+ days, so you will float to cover territories where there is an immediate vacancy anywhere throughout the San Francisco, CA market. You will also focus on:

  • Identifying, developing and qualifying leads within the territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling, partner-selling, lead-generation campaigns, and modern social selling techniques.

  • Gaining new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets.

  • Retaining, managing, and growing the existing customer base.

  • Coordinating with support partners to educate and excite customers about how they can leverage innovative business solutions.

  • Proactively establishing, building, and maintaining relationships with key decision makers.

  • Effectively presenting and creating multi-product solution opportunities.

  • Demonstrating a knowledgeable understanding of wireless and mobility products and integrated software solutions to promote and position products including: Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP and Google platforms.

  • Tracking and reporting progress using sales force automation tools.

  • This position will support a sales territory requiring travel in and around the San Francisco, CA area. It is hybrid and must be within a commutable distance for in-person meetings and visits; the territory may cover San Francisco and surrounding areas.

What we’re looking for

  • You are self-motivated and adept at crafting solutions to solve clients’ problems, explaining complex technology in accessible language, and enjoy cold-calling to discover customer needs.

  • You seek to win, take initiative to close deals, and help others around you, acting with integrity.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience

  • Four or more years of relevant experience (work or military)

  • Experience in outside sales, prospecting and negotiation

  • Willingness to travel within your geographic territory (up to ~50%)

  • Valid driver’s license

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree (Associates or Bachelor’s) or certifications

  • Two+ years of B2B or outside sales experience including acquisition and prospecting

  • Technology sales and related experience (CRM, SaaS, etc.)

  • Strong presentation skills in person and virtual settings

  • Experience building and maintaining relationships at all client levels

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment

  • Time management and prioritization skills

  • Ability to implement feedback and tailor your approach for success

In this mobile role, you’ll primarily work from customer or field locations, with occasional visits to a Verizon location for training and meetings.

Salary varies by location and is base plus commission; complete compensation depends on geography, performance and experience. The base full-time salary range listed for this requisition location is $53,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year.
