The primary responsibility of the role is to generate incremental demand and revenue for Surestep products among the selected territories or key accounts assigned to them. The ideal candidate will be a certified orthotist or certified prosthetist/orthotist with direct experience selling to the O&P community, preferably in Pediatric Lower Extremity Orthotics. The candidate will need the ability to develop an integrated sales and marketing effort that maximizes both short-term impacts and long-term customer and revenue sustainability. Specifically, this candidate will need to build and expand the pediatric orthotics market in a defined region. The territory focuses on the West Coast and includes, but is not limited to, California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, and Nevada. This is a remote position with the ideal candidate residing within the territory. Travel is required.
Your Impact Drive growth with all Surestep products by creating and implementing sales and marketing strategy specific to customer base and the defined territory.
Lead or coordinate in-service training sessions and present at market/product educational events; provide additional customer support to key customers. Work with customers and Surestep teams to align strategies to grow Surestep sales and revenue in specified markets.
Assess and prioritize customer base and allocate time according to opportunities for the most significant impact.
Create onboarding programs and product training for customers as they sign on to using Surestep products.
Identify and participate in trade shows to maximize market impact.
Identify customer needs and collaborate with Surestep Education and Marketing teams on training and education for assigned customers.
Identify market needs and articulate a compelling and differentiated value proposition.
Be well-versed in public speaking with ability to engage groups of any size in-person or virtually; preferred deep understanding of pediatric lower extremity orthotics and indications for Surestep products.
Track and measure the effectiveness of the program and adjust as needed to improve our approach.
Administrative Requirements: daily/weekly updates to contact management and sales activity in Salesforce; Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel); responsible for setting up meetings, travel, and accommodations.
Minimum Qualifications Certified Orthotist or Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist and sales and marketing experience.
Typically requires a minimum of 8+ years of related experience.
Postgraduate coursework may be expected at this level.
Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver\'s license and driving record within the standards outlined in Hanger\'s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.

Must be able to travel overnight, likely 2 weeks per month, to visit accounts and conduct educational seminars and customer training.

Pay range: $96,000.00 - $135,000.00 salary range + commission + benefits. This pay range is posted to comply with wage transparency laws. Salary ranges vary based on skill, ability, knowledge, geographic location and other variables.
