What You'll Do

Lead implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologies

Support design, development, and test activities

Guide clients on architecture design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives as needed to drive technical success

Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance

Create and document implementation best practices as well as knowledge base articles for internal enablement

Provide thought leadership on process improvement

Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools

Mentorship, training, and enablement of resources

You’ll be teaming up with a diverse, enthusiastic, multi-disciplinary team of creative minds with a smart sense of humor.

What You'll Be Working On

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience with Appian solutions

5+ years of related IT experience

Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area

Active Appian Senior or Lead Certification

Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology

Strong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skills

Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, both verbally and written; active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners; analytical and strategic foresight

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task (prioritize and manage), and work both independently and as a team

Hybrid position (on-site McLean VA / remote)

U.S. Citizen (no dual citizenship) and possess an Active Clearance or candidate must be clearable

Experience Working In The Following Technologies Required

Appian

RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB)

Web services, Integrations and Middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion)

Experience Working In The Following Areas Is A PLUS

Cloud Computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP)

Data management and data visualization/BI

DevSecOps and/or Configuration Management

Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $115,439.00 - $162,293.00
