Intuit's litigation team is a small, dynamic, high-performing group responsible for overseeing litigation, investigations involving government entities and regulators, responses to third-party information requests, and other related matters. We are seeking an attorney with significant litigation experience to join as an Assistant General Counsel, Litigation. This role reports to the Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and covers all Intuit products and services globally.

This role is hybrid, requiring on-site presence three days per week.
Responsibilities
Managing and resolving lawsuits and pre-litigation disputes to achieve favorable legal and business outcomes.
Responding to investigations and inquiries from regulators and government entities.
Developing strategies for managing and resolving cases and investigations.
Conducting internal investigations and working with witnesses.
Collaborating with legal and business teams to balance legal risks and opportunities.
Managing responses to third-party information requests, ensuring legal compliance and data protection.
Managing in-house legal support staff and supervising outside counsel and legal service providers.
Drafting policies, procedures, and conducting training to educate business partners.
Qualifications
JD in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar, eligible to practice law locally.
15+ years of combined enforcement, investigations, and legal experience, including in a top-tier law firm, government, and in-house legal department.
Experience managing teams and direct reports.
Strong litigation mindset, detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven.
Business-oriented, risk-aware, and creative in enabling smart decision-making.
Curious, quick learner, and committed to continuous improvement.
Team player with excellent relationship-building skills and empathy.
Capable of managing significant caseloads and cross-company projects independently.
Highly organized, process-oriented, and innovative.

Ability to produce clear legal analysis and business communications, and to counsel senior management.
