Yelp delivers digital advertising solutions through partnerships with national businesses. Our premium native search advertising products are designed to provide a strong return on investment and help clients engage potential customers who are ready to purchase. The Brand Sales team is expanding, and this role leads revenue generation for our search retargeting product as part of Yelp’s audience platform.
The Senior Brand Sales Director will lead territory development from prospecting to closing, selling directly to clients and growing Yelp’s search retargeting products. You will work with brands across industries such as CPG, Finance, beverage and spirit, and direct-to-consumer commerce.
Candidates should have a background in digital or advertising sales with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals. This role offers strong opportunities for career advancement within the Brand Sales team.

What you’ll do Manage a strategic account territory and identify new accounts aligned with Yelp’s advertising solutions
Take ownership of the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing
Develop relationships with key decision-makers across client organizations
Align Yelp’s search retargeting solutions with client objectives and challenges
Collaborate with clients and agencies to craft strategies using Yelp’s Audience Platform product
Identify budget opportunities within client organizations to support new Yelp campaigns
Work with Yelp’s Account Management and Customer Success teams to ensure exceptional client experiences and program success
Lead ad hoc projects focused on strategic revenue growth opportunities

What it takes to succeed 12+ years of diverse experience spanning Sales, Digital, Advertising, and Agency roles
A proven history of surpassing multi-million dollar sales targets with 8+ years of direct sales experience
Understanding of digital media and managed services
Strong communication skills with a track record of engaging with senior executives
A growth mindset, readiness to take on new challenges, and a drive to impact Yelp’s revenue and client base
Ability to close deals worth $150,000 and higher; entrepreneurial spirit and aptitude to build partnerships from the ground up
A collaborative, adaptable, and calm approach with a history of effective teamwork
A commitment to Yelp’s mission and supporting the Brand team’s success
Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time

Base salary: $160,000 per year
Uncapped quarterly incentive compensation; target total annual compensation around $310,000 assuming minimum performance
Top performers may significantly exceed target earnings
