Our client, a leader in the SaaS Identity space, offers an outstanding contract Senior Data Analyst opportunity to join their dynamic team. This is a fully remote role.
Auth0 is an easy-to-implement authentication and authorization platform designed by developers for developers. We make access to applications safe, secure, and seamless for over 100 million daily logins worldwide. Our modern identity approach enables this Tier 0 global service to deliver convenience, privacy, and security, allowing customers to focus on innovation. Within the Data organization, the Data Enablement team creates scalable semantic models that facilitate data understanding and access. They partner with product and engineering leaders, managing the data lifecycle from strategy to prototyping, implementation, and providing executive dashboards and self-service support.
The Senior Data Analyst, reporting to the Senior Manager of Data Enablement, will unlock analytics across the company. Responsibilities include managing the data lifecycle, enabling data tooling, and promoting safe usage of scalable data models for reporting and analytics. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and program management teams to ensure product signals are captured to measure entitlement, adoption, and utilization. You will develop semantic models representing product usage and communicate these insights effectively to stakeholders. Weekly activities involve planning measurement strategies, reviewing engineering plans, developing data products, and creating documentation for clarity and usability. Multiple tools and teams will support your goal of generating product and customer insights.
Contract Duration: 7-Months
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years in data management, data engineering, analytics, or related fields
5+ years with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, etc.)
2+ years SQL experience
Strong understanding of data lifecycle management, including instrumentation, governance, modeling, and self-service interfaces
Ability to build relationships with partners and stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical documentation
Excellent business acumen and emotional intelligence in ambiguous environments
Extra credit for experience with web analytics tools (Heap, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks), data engineering (Python, dbt, Kafka, etc.), or authentication products
Desired Skills & Experience
BA or higher degree preferred; relevant work experience in lieu of degree acceptable

Daily Responsibilities
Partner with product, engineering, and management teams to develop measurement strategies
Build scalable, semantic data models accessible to stakeholders
Educate data stakeholders on new data objects and models
Develop deep knowledge of specific product domains and influence others
Create reusable data models supporting key business concepts
Deliver dashboards and insights based on data models
Collaborate with analysts on cross-product insights
Prioritize data privacy and governance throughout the data lifecycle
