About The Role: We’re hiring a Senior Data Analyst to help lay the foundation of a modern analytics function at Ambience. You’ll partner closely with our Data Engineering team to transform raw data into trusted insights, dashboards, and self-service tools supporting teams across the company—from Product and Clinical to Customer Success, Finance, and GTM. This role involves building dashboards, defining KPIs, launching predictive models, and promoting data literacy. You will be one of our first analytics hires, setting standards for metrics, dashboards, and analytics integration into daily workflows. Responsibilities: Build intuitive dashboards for internal teams and external stakeholders. Define and maintain trusted KPIs for core metrics like MAU, feature adoption, churn risk, ROI impact. Launch predictive models (e.g., churn forecasting) and surface insights in tools like Slack and Notion. Develop dashboards for account health, telemetry, and ROI to guide business strategies. Collaborate with data engineers on data modeling and semantic layers. Lead data bootcamps, publish a data catalog, and champion self-service analytics. Translate stakeholder questions into KPIs and decision-ready analyses. Must-Have Skills: 5+ years in analytics/BI roles at high-growth or data-focused organizations. Expert SQL skills for complex queries. Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling. Experience with BI platforms like Power BI, Looker, Tableau. Cross-functional collaboration experience. Comfort working with Data Engineering teams. Strong communication and data storytelling skills. Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience as an early analytics hire or in startup environments. Operationalizing ML models into workflows. Background in healthcare, finance, or compliance. Pay Transparency: The salary range is approximately $200,000 - $230,000 annually, excluding equity or bonuses. We offer meaningful equity and evaluate compensation based on experience. Location: Candidates should be able to work in our San Francisco office a few days a week to facilitate collaboration.
