Responsibilities include leading and developing senior and staff engineers, working closely with product managers and designers to define long-term technical and product strategy, prioritizing and aligning team efforts to achieve business results, establishing engineering processes focused on quality, and collaborating with recruiting to build a high-performing team. Requirements include 5+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in management, experience leading multiple engineering pods, strong collaboration skills, business acumen, technical understanding, recruiting experience, and excellent communication skills. The role offers a base salary range of $193,000 - $260,000 plus equity and benefits, with location-dependent pay. The position can be remote in the San Francisco Bay Area or hybrid in New York City.
