The team collaborates with Sales, Product Management, Consulting Services, Marketing, Industries and Value Management to bring the value of Workday solutions to life. About The Role This is your chance to lead a world-class Solution Consulting Team focused on selling Workday HCM and related solutions to prospects and customers in the North American Higher Education market. You will mentor a team, advise sales strategy, and oversee performance and delivery in support of our sales and solution consulting goals. You will help your team grow their careers and set strategy and execution for the business. A key focus is mentoring and guiding the team to advance skills and knowledge for outstanding academic and business outcomes. Travel is expected up to 50%. Responsibilities Lead and mentor the HCM Solution Consulting team focused on Workday HCM and related solutions for higher education prospects and customers. Advise on sales strategy and oversee delivery in support of sales and solution consulting goals. Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Consulting Services, Marketing, Industries, and Value Management to demonstrate the value of Workday solutions. Support the career development of team members, setting strategy and execution for the business. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Manager level expectations: 7+ years in a sales-related role selling enterprise software; 4+ years of experience leading people and mentoring on sales opportunities and strategy; 4+ years direct experience with higher education, nonprofit, or state & local industries; 4+ years experience with HCM solutions or HR domain expertise (talent acquisition, talent management, compensation, benefits, payroll, employee experience). Senior/Additional Qualifications: Sr. Manager, Solution Consulting requires 7+ years in a sales-related role; 4+ years leading people and mentoring; 4+ years direct experience with relevant industries; 4+ years HCM domain expertise. Other Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Awareness of the competitive landscape for enterprise software in higher education. Ability to lead executive-level presentations for internal and external audiences. Experience in a fast-paced environment; strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Record of achieving or surpassing goals; successful coaching of coworkers for skill development and career growth. Collaborative mindset and data-driven decision-making.
