The North America (NA) Solution Design Team is responsible for ensuring that Visa develops new solutions aligned with client needs and successful implementation. The Senior Manager of Solution Design will collaborate closely with product managers across Visa, taking a cross-product approach to product development, especially within key strategic areas such as risk, digital, and more. We seek a well-rounded individual capable of understanding client needs and market requirements, integrating them into the product development process. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a desire to design solutions based on client and market insights. This role reports to the Senior Director, Solution Design within Visa’s NA Product and Solutions organization. Responsibilities include: Participating in new product launches by defining and prioritizing NA-specific requirements Evaluating the technical design and strategic value of in-development products against client needs and market trends Partnering with client-facing teams to understand client and market needs Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams across product development, technology, and innovation Managing and assessing roadmaps for new solutions and enhancements against regional priorities Providing updates to senior leadership on strategic initiatives Leading projects independently and mentoring junior team members This is a hybrid position; days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor Degree or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 2+ years with a PhD Preferred Qualifications: 9+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7+ years with an Advanced Degree, or 3+ years with a PhD Ability to articulate product value to executive stakeholders and explain technical details to developers Experience in product management or development, with documentation and process flow skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in payments, fintech, or digital technology sectors Knowledge of digital payments, authentication, and risk management Excellent facilitation, communication, and collaborative skills Proven ability to handle complex problems in fast-paced environments Self-motivated with attention to detail and organizational skills Additional Information Work Authorization: Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa will not sponsor work visas for this position. Work Hours: Varies based on departmental needs. Travel Requirements: 5-10% travel expected. U.S. Applicants: The estimated salary range is $159,100 to $230,900 annually, potentially including sales incentives. Salary varies based on experience, skills, and location.
