Senior Manager, Visa Consulting and Analytics, Community Financial Institutions Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) drives tangible, impactful, and financial results for Visa's network clients, including financial services and merchants. Drawing on expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operations, and macroeconomics, VCA solves strategic problems for clients.
The NA Consulting Practice within VCA provides consulting and solution services for Visa's largest issuers in the United States. We leverage deep industry expertise to help clients with key business priorities, drive growth, and improve profitability. Our services address challenges in profitability, strategic growth, customer experience, digital payments, and risk management.
We seek a Senior Manager to join our Community FI segment, developing high-impact projects for Visa’s clients in North America. The candidate will sell consulting engagements and deliver projects with large US Financial Institutions/Issuing Banks, promoting sustainable and profitable growth to establish Visa as a preferred brand and business partner.
Key focus areas include developing strategies such as market penetration, profitability analysis, segmentation, growth, product development, program launch, customer acquisition, lifecycle optimization, retention, and enhancements.
Responsibilities include:
Engaging with Visa internal teams for strategic planning.
Managing a sales pipeline and achieving sales targets.
Collaborating with account planning teams including Account Executives and Marketing.
Identifying opportunities with Issuing Bank and Credit Union partners and closing deals.
Working with delivery partners to create solutions for clients' growth initiatives.
Maintaining internal records for approvals, legal, funding, and revenue recognition.
Leading and contributing to consulting projects, including timeline and resource planning, building insights, developing frameworks, and delivering actionable recommendations.
Partnering across functional teams to execute projects leveraging Visa’s resources.
Producing insights and recommendations to enhance client performance and growth.
Analyzing large data sets to derive insights and recommendations.
Building scalable solutions, toolkits, and best practices for VCA.
Ideal candidates are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of developing strategic relationships with clients and internal teams. They should have experience closing sales and understanding the debit/credit payments space within the Community FI segment. This is an individual contributor role reporting to a Director within VCA.
This position is hybrid, with in-office days to be confirmed by the hiring manager.
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years with an advanced degree (MBA, JD, MD), or 2+ years with a PhD.
Preferred Qualifications:
9+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 7+ years with an advanced degree, or 3+ years with a PhD.
Experience at a large management consulting firm or US Financial Institution.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Experience with financial indicators and ROI impact.
Results-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects.
Knowledge of banking operations, payment schemes, products, and services.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Team player with a technology mindset and digital trend awareness.
Work hours vary based on departmental needs.
Position performed in an office setting, requiring sitting, standing, and communication.

U.S. Applicants: Salary range is $141,800 to $205,800 annually, potentially including sales incentives, bonuses, and equity. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and wellness programs.
