At the heart of this expansion is our dynamic regional marketing team.We’re looking for a Senior Marketing & Events Manager, METNA to join our Events Center of Excellence. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on bringing exceptional events to life, loves fast-paced collaboration, and is driven by data, creativity, and results. This position involves managing a significant number of major exhibitions and hosted events. Your expertise in handling large-scale exhibitions, in particular, will be a crucial asset.This pivotal position requires you to help build the event strategy and lead the events execution throughout the METNA region. You will work closely with the METNA Field Manager and the broader EMEA team. Additionally, you will support strategic EMEA-wide programs, including the development of channel activities and vertical-focused events (such as Gaming & iGaming/DNB/Startups). Success in this role depends on your ability to collaborate across Marketing, Sales, and Partner teams to create experiences that drive engagement, build pipeline, and accelerate Cloudflare’s EMEA pipeline growth.This role reports to the Head of Field Marketing & Events, EMEA, and works closely with the broader regional marketing and sales organisation. Curious, adaptable, and eager to grow in a tech-driven, high-growth environment.What You'll DoLead Event Execution in METNA Plan and execute impactful events—trade shows, executive dinners, Cloudflare conferences, partner gatherings, and more—to drive pipeline and customer engagement across the region.Drive EMEA Channel Event Strategy Collaborate with the Head of EMEA Events, Director of Partner Marketing, and METNA Field Marketing leads to shape and deliver strategic channel events aligned with Cloudflare’s partner ecosystem growth.Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Sales, Product, Localization, and Marketing teams to align event strategy with business goals and deliver meaningful experiences.Vendor & Partner Management Own relationships with agencies, venues, and regional partners—ensuring seamless execution and maximum ROI for every event.Campaign Development & Execution Create event-related assets including landing pages, promotional content, and email campaigns. Ensure strong pre- and post-event strategies to drive lead conversion.Performance Tracking & Insights Measure, report, and optimize events using clear KPIs and ROI metrics—continuously refining strategies for better outcomes.Support Regional Field Marketing Partner with the METNA Field Marketing Manager to ensure event initiatives are embedded within the broader EMEA marketing strategy.Required QualificationsFluent in English (mandatory). Other European languages are a plus.Based in Lisbon, Portugal.8+ years of regional marketing experience, including support for field sales teams and channel partners.Background in cybersecurity or high-growth SaaS is a strong advantage.What You BringProfessional ExperienceDeep expertise in event, channel, or field marketing, with a proven track record of managing complex, multi-market programs.Comfortable and expertise working closely with sales, BDRs, and partner ecosystems to align on business objectives.Experience operating across Diverse EMEA teams and cultures.Core SkillsExceptional project and time management skills; detail-oriented and highly organised.Excellent written and verbal communication, with a knack for compelling storytelling and promotional messaging.Collaborative communicator, able to influence stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Partner teams.Strategic mindset with the ability to execute flawlessly in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Strong analytical acumen, using data to inform decisions and optimize performance.Tech & ToolsProficiency in Google Workspace (G Suite).Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, Demandbase, or other MarTech platforms is a plus.Bonus Points If You HaveExpertise in marketing automation platforms like Salesforce, Marketo, or Demandbase.Strong copywriting and content creation skills for outreach and engagement.Why Join Cloudflare?At Cloudflare, you’ll be part of a company that values innovation, collaboration, and impact.
