About the role

Cloudflare is revolutionizing enterprise IT and growing a billion-pound business with over 40% annual growth. Central to this momentum is our regional marketing team. We are seeking a marketing and events specialist to join our Events Center of Excellence. This is an opportunity to advance your career within Cloudflare's rocket ship growth.

You will join a regional marketing team of 20 in the EMEA region, becoming an integral member who collaborates, contributes, and elevates the work of the wider team. If you love creating extraordinary events and thrive in fast-paced, data-driven environments, this role is for you. You will report to the Head of Field Marketing & Events, EMEA, and work closely with the METNA Field Manager to drive collaboration, creativity, and impact across the region.

What you'll do:

Support Regional Field Marketing
Partner with the METNA Field Marketing Manager to embed event initiatives within the broader EMEA marketing strategy, ensuring cohesion and impact across the region.

Lead Event Execution in METNA
Plan and deliver high-impact events—from large trade shows and executive dinners to Cloudflare conferences and partner gatherings—that drive pipeline, engagement, and brand excitement across the region. Turn ideas into experiences that leave a lasting impression.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Sales, Product, Localization, and Marketing teams to align events with business goals and deliver meaningful experiences for customers, partners, and prospects.

Vendor & Partner Management
Own relationships with agencies, venues, and regional partners to ensure flawless execution and maximum ROI. Drive smooth, high-quality experiences that reflect Cloudflare's standards.

Campaign Development & Execution
Create event-related assets (landing pages, promotional content, email campaigns) and lead pre- and post-event strategies to convert interest into pipeline and measurable results.

Performance Tracking & Insights
Measure, report, and optimize every event using clear KPIs and ROI metrics to continuously refine strategies.

What You'll Bring

Professional Experience

• Deep expertise in event and field marketing with a track record of managing complex, multi-market programs that deliver measurable impact.
• Skilled in tradeshow booth design, build management, and overseeing large-scale fair experiences from concept to execution.
• Experience working with Sales, BDRs, and partner ecosystems, aligning events and campaigns with broader business objectives.
• Experience operating across diverse EMEA teams and cultures in fast-moving, international environments.

Core Skills

• Strong project and time management; highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple initiatives.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication with storytelling and promotional messaging skills.

Required Qualifications

• Fluent in English (mandatory); additional European or METNA languages (e.g., Arabic, Turkish) are a plus.
• Based in Lisbon, Portugal.
• 8+ years of events and regional marketing experience with strong field sales collaboration and broad channel marketing knowledge.
• Experience in cybersecurity or high-growth SaaS is highly desirable.
