Overview
We're seeking a hands-on, technically driven Senior Principal Solution Architect to play a strategic role at the intersection of solution architecture and sales. This position will be instrumental in designing innovative solutions for prospective clients, leading complex implementation efforts, and mentoring solution architecture talent.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Project Management, Technical Development, Technical Support, Product, and Customer Success, and report directly to the Senior Director of Global Solution Architecture.

Job Details
Responsibilities
- Strategic Solution Design: Partner with sales to understand client needs, challenges, and strategic goals. Design and present scalable, integrated solutions that address these objectives using the company\'s platform and technologies.
- Architectural Leadership: Act as a senior leader within the solution architecture team—help shape architecture strategy, standards, and methodologies. Mentor junior architects and foster a high-performing technical culture.
- Technical Oversight in Implementations: Serve as a technical lead and trusted advisor on the organization\'s most critical and complex projects. Guide customers and internal teams through architecture decisions to ensure successful delivery and maximum ROI.
- Offshore Team Leadership & Coaching: Provide technical direction and coaching to offshore development teams. Ensure alignment with architectural best practices and effective collaboration with onshore resources.
- Product Feedback & Innovation: Deliver actionable insights to product management and engineering teams based on market trends and real-world implementation experience. Help shape future product development and roadmap priorities.
- Pre-Sales Expertise: Support sales efforts by demonstrating solutions, leading discovery workshops, and participating in proof-of-concept engagements. Tailor messaging to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Industry Thought Leadership: Stay current with emerging technologies, market trends, and competitors. Share insights internally and externally to position the company as a thought leader in the mobile workforce technology space.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related field
- At least 10 years in a solution architect, solution engineer, or similar enterprise SaaS role
- Minimum of 10 years of SaaS project delivery experience in a vendor or consulting capacity
- Demonstrated pre-sales experience including technical presentations and solution demos
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, system integration patterns, and data modeling
- Proficient in web services and systems integration
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven ability to learn new platforms and technologies in fast-paced environments
- Experience leading in highly collaborative, team-oriented settings
- Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Salesforce)
- Familiarity with security and permissions design
- Experience creating high-quality wireframes and technical mockups

- Travel requirements: Up to 20%
