The Member Experience Engineering team builds the web and mobile experiences that Spring Health members use to access care. We blaze trails with green field innovation, iterate rapidly on feature roadmaps, and optimize the experiences to reduce friction.
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a team responsible for building modern AI powered experiences. You will be a technical leader on the team.
Please note that this is a hybrid role based in San Francisco , with an expectation to be in office 2-3 days a week. Our office is located at 2 Embarcadero Ctr.
What you’ll be doing: Integrating emerging AI technologies into the member experience
Building proprietary developer tools for emerging AI technologies
Applying your passion for innovation to create experiences never before possible
Executing quickly and efficiently in a collaborative team setting
Contributing to a thriving team of engineers around you
What success looks like in this role: Energetic immersion in emerging AI technologies
Creative and innovative development of homegrown developer platforms
On time planned deliveries and high velocity incremental deliveries
High quality engineering output, in terms of both product and codebase
Trend of reducing technical debt reduction and improving engineering excellence
Great productive relationships in engineering and across functions like PM and Design
Peer leadership as an exemplary engineer and mentor
What we expect from you: At least 5 years experience as a software engineer
Preferably at least 3 years of experience with Ruby, Rails, React, TypeScript and/or Flutter
At least 3 years of experience building developer platforms and tool chains
At least 2 years of experience with modern AI technologies
Track record of proactive and collaborative leadership style
Track record of technical leadership, creating clarity from ambiguity
The target base salary range for this position is $159,100 - $213,565 , and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
