Overview

Publica is seeking a Fullstack Senior Software Engineer to be part of our CTV product team. Engineers at Publica work across the full stack—from frontend load balancers and backend services to data warehousing and client-facing interfaces—on a platform that handles billions of requests per hour in Connected Television (CTV). You will collaborate with other engineers and product team members to design and deliver outcomes with freedom and responsibility, and contribute across the stack using Golang, JavaScript, and React.

Responsibilities

• Develop and contribute across the full stack (frontend to backend) for the CTV platform.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to design, implement, and deliver features from concept to production.
• Learn new technologies and techniques as needed to address a variety of technical challenges.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• 2+ years of experience with real-time programming, concurrency and parallelism with a language such as Golang, Java, Rust or C/C++.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Willing to work in San Francisco (hybrid schedule); relocation is not offered.
• Experience contributing to technical architecture discussions and helping drive technical decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts in cross-functional teams.
• Positive attitude toward taking responsibility, learning new tools and technologies, and making immediate contributions to the product.

Bonus points for candidates with

• Experience building automated test suites.
• Experience with Machine Learning.
• Experience with infrastructure and basic DevOps (Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, Docker).

California Applicants: The salary range for this position is $145,000 - $165,000. Actual pay may vary based on experience.
