You possess a strong software engineering background and advanced knowledge of AWS tools and services. From day one, you should be able to contribute immediately to building a great product. Most importantly, you have a positive “can do” attitude and a passion for delivering technical solutions in a fast-paced startup environment. This position reports to the Engineering Manager.Your ImpactKey Responsibilities:Design and develop large-scale application stacks on AWS.Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to design, integrate software, conduct code reviews, and troubleshoot issues.Perform proof-of-concept studies to identify optimal design options, including AWS service usage.Research integration options for various SaaS/IaaS technologies, including APIs for user administration, and incorporate this research into our application integration.What You Will NeedRequired Skills:Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in similar roles.Deep knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Java, REST Web Services, SQL/NoSQL databases, ELK stack, microservices architecture, containers/Docker, CI/CD principles.Hands-on experience developing and delivering scalable multi-tenant SaaS applications on AWS.In-depth understanding of AWS platform, tools, and services, specifically networking and security, Route53, API Gateway, ECS/Fargate, RDS, DynamoDB.Excellent collaboration and communication skills.Ability to work effectively with distributed teams.Understanding and practice of agile development methodologies.Prior experience with security product development.Nice to HaveAWS Certified Developer certification is highly desirable.Experience with Big Data technologies.Work from anywhere in the US!
