They’re looking for a Senior Tax Manager to lead client relationships and mentor a growing team within their Private Client Services group. Base pay range : $165,000.00/yr - $210,000.00/yr
What You’ll Do
Manage and deliver high-level tax compliance and consulting services for high net worth individuals, family offices, trusts, closely held businesses, and foundations
Lead and mentor teams of seniors and staff, helping to guide their professional development
Plan and oversee engagement schedules, workloads, and workflow across multiple clients
Research complex individual and trust tax issues and provide strategic recommendations
Ensure technical accuracy and high-quality client deliverables
Foster strong, ongoing client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on tax strategy and planning
Communicate regularly with partners on engagement progress and team performance
Participate in business development conversations and contribute to firm growth
Requirements
7+ years of experience within a public accounting firm preferred
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related major; Master's Degree a plus
Licensed CPA
Experience with individual income tax, gift tax, estate tax and trust taxation; estate planning experience is highly preferred
Experience with Trust and/or Estate administration is a plus
Ability to identify and propose resolutions to complex income tax issues
Demonstrated advanced project management skills
Ability to utilize firm technology to enhance client service
Strong technical aptitude and communication skills
Ability to work independently
Experience leading and supervising a team
Willingness to learn, teach, and supervise in a fast-paced environment and be receptive to feedback
Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and take initiative on projects
High attention to detail
Positive attitude and a team player mentality
Strong Microsoft Office skills
