This is a hardware TPM role - Must have experience managing offshore teams and OEM manufacturers.
We are looking for individuals who bring exceptional technical and analytical skills to drive NPI (New Product Introduction) and PRQ (Post Ramp Qualification) programs that unlock value for the cities across the globe that use our products. Our team members drive cross-functional initiatives, spanning Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Product, Sales, and Finance. They are highly technical and rely heavily on their strong leadership, planning, and communication skills. They are problem solvers who make things happen around them by setting clear goals and inspiring teams to deliver. Our team members are both strategic and tactical and do what it takes to successfully deliver key programs that have a material impact on the business.
Responsibilities Shepherd technical hardware products and initiatives from initial concept and prototyping through mass production and deployment. Set technical strategy and solve complex problems in NPI and Sustaining. Seamlessly switch between articulating high-level program strategy during leadership reviews to tactical discussions at the working level. Drive substantial value for the organization by working cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Product teams to define the scope, priority, and value of the most impactful hardware programs. Set the tone for hardware programs by modeling all-in ownership, accountability, and effective communication. Lead recurring technical and program discussions with the core team, leadership, and suppliers all over the world. Engage with OEM manufacturing partners to develop, ramp, and introduce products. Develop rapport with partners and detailed knowledge of how micromobility works and understand limitations and drive solutions.
Experience Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects iteratively with multiple dependencies and constraints, in a highly dynamic environment. Proven ability to operate effectively and autonomously across multiple teams in situations of extreme ambiguity, with only high-level direction. Experience building roadmaps, release plans, project plans with a thorough understanding of dependency management. Able to communicate highly technical problems and solutions at all levels from engineer to executive. Able to influence, negotiate and inspire others in a matrixed environment. Excellent organization, planning skills, and attention to detail. Experience compiling and presenting business and technology options, supported by data, to decision makers. An undergraduate degree in mechanical, electrical, computer, or systems engineering (or similar field). At least 4-5 years of professional mechanical, electrical, computer, or systems engineering experience (or similar field) or technical Program Management experience. Vendor management experience, including experience managing offshore vendors.
