Job Description
Join the legal frontline and champion the defense for both the insured and the Company! As a Senior Trial Attorney, you'll handle bodily injury, property damage lawsuits, and more, with engaging trials, arbitrations, and mediations. You'll also provide vital counsel to business clients and coordinate between legal teams. Key Responsibilities
Represent insured individuals and the Company in defending bodily injury and property damage lawsuits, subrogation, and Allstate Financial cases.
Prepare thoroughly for and conduct hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.
Prepare and present pre- and post-trial motions effectively.
Assist colleagues in resolving calendar conflicts collaboratively.
Offer legal counsel to business clients on daily legal matters.
Manage projects efficiently, fostering coordination among legal teams.
Monitor and evaluate new laws, regulations, and case law; identify and summarize relevant issues; collaborate with the Law and Regulation department; provide proactive advice to business units; monitor legal representation.
Education
Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with the Florida State Bar.
Minimum Requirements
3+ years of proven litigation experience or strong litigation-related skills, including case strategy, legal research, and advocacy, with the ability to handle complex disputes under pressure.
First or second chair jury trial experience preferred.
Experience with insurance defense preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, LexisNexis (preferred), and internet research.
Strong teamwork skills, capable of collaborating effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff under Lead Counsel's guidance.
Ability to manage a substantial case load.
Willingness to work remotely and travel within the greater Tallahassee, Florida area.

Compensation
Annual salary ranges from $85,600 to $152,650, based on experience and qualifications.
