About Krane Krane is reshaping the construction supply chain from the ground up. We’re building intuitive, modern workflows for general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers—turning outdated systems into seamless, collaborative tools. With our MVP launched and early customers on board, we’re scaling fast. We’re now hiring a seasoned Senior UI/UX Designer to help drive the design vision, elevate user experience, and bring polish and usability to a critical B2B platform. Responsibilities Design Leadership Lead end-to-end design for key features and product areas—from discovery through execution. Champion usability, accessibility, and visual clarity across the platform. User-Centered Research Conduct user research, usability tests, and customer interviews. Translate insights into intuitive workflows and interfaces that reflect real-world needs. High-Fidelity Execution Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that clearly communicate the product’s structure and intent. Deliver production-ready design assets to engineering. Collaboration Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams. Participate in sprint planning and give design input during product reviews and user testing sessions. Design Systems amp; Consistency Help evolve and maintain our design system for consistency, scalability, and efficiency across teams and use cases. Feedback amp; Iteration Actively seek feedback and iterate quickly. Contribute to a culture of thoughtful critique and continuous improvement. What We’re Looking For B2B Design Expertise 5–7+ years of UI/UX experience, ideally designing complex workflows for non-technical users in SaaS or enterprise tools. Portfolio of Impact Strong portfolio demonstrating clear problem-solving, polished visuals, and elegant user flows for multi-role platforms. Systems Thinker Experience with building and maintaining component-based design systems, especially in Figma. Tool Proficiency Fluent in Figma, prototyping tools (e.g., Framer, Protopie), and able to communicate your thinking clearly with both designers and developers. Construction Tech (or Analogous) Insight Familiarity with construction tech, field service apps, logistics, or other real-world, high-complexity workflows is a plus—not a must. Communication Skills Clear, confident communicator who can defend design decisions with logic and empathy—and adapt based on feedback from diverse stakeholders. Ownership amp; Initiative You’re a self-starter who thrives in ambiguous environments, takes pride in craft, and wants to play a foundational role in building a category-defining product. Compensation amp; Benefits Base Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 Equity: Yes Benefits: 401(k) with employer match
