About the Role The Commerce Design team defines the viewer and creator monetized experiences across our product ecosystem, building and maintaining a cross-platform live streaming service that supports the growth and development of streamer-based communities. In this role, you will be leading the evolution and maintenance of core monetization features such as subscriptions, bits and gifting. You will lead projects from conception all the way through execution and iteration, where the strategy, goals, vision and execution are not defined. You will work with multiple senior partners across orgs, represent work to executive leadership, guide and mentor junior designers. If you are a champion for designing for humans and creating playful and caring experiences for communities, you will flourish on this team. You can work in San Francisco, CA; Irvine, CA; New York, NY; or Seattle, WA You Will: Lead design strategy and execution for Twitch's commerce features Create designs and prototypes for presentation to execs and peers, and handoff to engineering partners Collaborate with a cross functional development team of product managers, engineers, and designers Work with our UX Research and Data Science teams to combine qualitative and quantitative information to develop hypotheses about customer motivations and use that to improve your designs Learn from streamers and viewers about the ways they use our services and imagine the future of the service Help shape Twitch's design future by evolving our design systems and mentoring designers across the organization You Have: 5+ years of experience in designing for monetization features, ideally within tech or digital product environments A portfolio that demonstrates excellent visual craft and systematic thinking Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate visual decisions with clarity Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts through storytelling and narrative techniques Bonus Points: Experience in video content, social media, or streaming platforms Experience as a content creator Formal education in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field Medical, Dental, Vision & Disability Insurance 401(k) Maternity & Parental Leave Flexible PTO Amazon Employee Discount Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
