Senior Backend Engineer (Contractor) – Remote (PST Preferred) Our client is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help migrate legacy Python services to Go. If you're passionate about backend systems, love solving complex problems, and thrive in fast-paced environments—this is for you.

What You’ll Do:

Refactor and migrate Python logic into Golang within GraphQL services.

Work with GraphQL Federation, Apollo Router, and internal tooling.

Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth delivery.

Debug, validate, and maintain high-quality code.

Improve internal migration tools and processes.

Must-Haves:

5+ years in backend development.

Strong experience with Golang and Python.

Familiarity with GraphQL APIs (Federation & Apollo Router a plus).

Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and collaboration in distributed teams.

Location: Remote (PST preferred)

Type: W2 Contract (No C2C)

Duration: 5 months to start

Pay Rate: DOE

Hours: 40/week
