Responsibilities As a Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA) Architect, the ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable and efficient business automation solutions with IBM CP4BA. The role requires deep technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive digital transformation initiatives. Requirements Experience installing CP4BA, including upgrades or patching
Experience with IBM Business Automation software such as Business Automation Workflow, Automation Decision Services, and Enterprise Content Management, and orchestration tools such as Watson Orchestrate
Experience in Cloud Pak architecture, including common services, automation foundation, and operators
Experience articulating deployment methods available for the software such as containerized vs non-containerized
Experience in authorization or authentication concepts such as LDAP, IAM, UMS, teams, roles, or SSO
Experience with different deployment patterns such as starter and production, and explaining the high-level deployment process or steps
Knowledge of RedHat OpenShift Container Platform and CP4BA platform components
Knowledge of containers such as Kubernetes and RedHat OpenShift
Knowledge of solutioning business applications using automatic document processing, decision services, and content services
Preferred Requirements Experience in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Experience in functional business capabilities of each of the CP4BA Components, including Case, BPM, Datacap, ADS, Process Mining, and Business Automation Application Experience developing case solutions using Client-Side Human Services Knowledge of analyzing workflow data with Process Mining Knowledge of migration and upgrade strategies Education/Certification Requirements Bachelor’s degree in CS or IT and 8+ years of experience in IT, covering software development, enterprise architecture, enterprise integration, and automation solutions, or 10+ years of experience in IT, covering software development, enterprise architecture, enterprise integration, and automation solutions in lieu of a degree
