Position Summary The Solutions Architect in Legal Business Consulting plays a key role in delivering customized, technology-enabled solutions to legal departments and Reed Smith practice teams. Reporting to the Manager, Legal Business Consulting, this role combines strategic consulting and solution design with hands-on product enablement and client-facing execution. The Solutions Architect translates legal use cases into workflow-driven solutions, creates and delivers tailored demos, and identifies opportunities for innovation. The role involves exercising discretion and independent judgment to shape solutions, advise clients and teams, and ensure alignment with business and technical goals. Key Responsibilities Client Engagement and Advisory: Deliver innovative solutions supporting legal and business operations, assist in projects focused on AI transformation, contract lifecycle management (CLM), and process optimization. Collaborate with clients to understand needs, gather requirements, and document processes. Product Enablement and Demonstration: Design and deliver tailored demos across legal tech platforms, build demo environments, gather real-world use cases, and evaluate emerging tools and trends. Collaboration and Team Support: Work with Analysts and Managers to ensure high-quality deliverables, share knowledge, and promote team values. AI and Technology Integration: Support the implementation of AI platforms, identify opportunities to leverage technology for client challenges. Operational Excellence: Develop and improve methodologies, monitor project progress, and manage risks. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Data Analysis, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in consulting, with exposure to AI, CLM, or legal tech. Experience with project management, business analysis, process improvement, or technology implementation. Demonstrated experience with legal tech solutions and product demos. Skills Strong communication skills, teamwork, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Ability to synthesize technical capabilities into business value for legal users. Additional Information No supervisory responsibilities. Equipment includes a personal computer and standard office tools. The role requires the ability to sit/stand for long periods, use computers proficiently, interpret documents, and communicate effectively.
