Mission We are looking for experienced pre-sales professionals who have a successful track record helping large enterprises become more data-driven. Working with the Enterprise Account Executive (AE), the Enterprise Solutions Architect defines and directs the technical strategy for our largest accounts, leading to broader use of our products and wider adoption of ML & AI. You will lean on a solid background in value selling, technical account management and technical leadership to maximize success in these accounts. You will work with a team that includes hands-on resources who build proofs of concept and demonstrate Databricks’ products. You must be technical and understand the relevance and application of ML & AI within use cases important to target accounts in the High Tech and Manufacturing space. Outcomes / Responsibilities You are the main technical voice for Databricks with multiple clients. Lead customers on a transformational journey to evaluate and adopt Databricks as part of their strategy. Implement the technical strategy in the account, aligned with the overall strategy. Build a movement of technical champions within the account. Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions. Provide structured mentorship for other team members. Earn the respect of peers through experience, insight and contributions. Qualifications / Competencies Proficiency in establishing virtual teams and leading them to success within the account. Experience with very large (> $1m ARR), global accounts. Ability to form relationships with executives and influencers. Present a convincing point-of-view to decision-makers that leads to success. Technical knowledge in big data, data science and cloud. Ability in data-driven business transformation and driving change with data. Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala or Java.
