What You’ll Do and Role and Responsibilities (highlights):

• As a highly skilled and customer-focused Solutions Architect, you will partner with our sales team to engage prospects, qualify opportunities, and design edge-based computer vision solutions. You will be the primary technical resource in the pre-sales phase, identify client needs, define technical requirements, and create scalable solutions leveraging our platform.

The Skillset You’ll Bring

• Experience in solutions architecture, technical sales engineering, or related roles, ideally in computer vision, AI, or IoT.
• Industry experience in Roboflow’s target markets (manufacturing, automotive, logistics, food processing, retail).
• Expertise in designing edge-based solutions and understanding edge computing constraints.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of computer vision, machine learning, and related technologies.
• Experience with cloud and edge infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure IoT) and edge platforms.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript; willingness to travel ~40%.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in pre-sales or go-to-market teams.
• Familiarity with OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch and related frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-centric mindset.

What You'll Be Working With

Our team of about 60 people includes executives who returned to building, founders with notable exits, open source contributors, and diverse talent. As an early Solutions Architect hire, you’ll work closely with the CEO and Sales leadership to shape the function for Roboflow’s future.

Where You'll Work

Roboflow is distributed across the US and Europe, with hubs in New York, San Francisco, and São Paulo. We offer a relocation bonus and options to work from hubs, home, or co-working spaces, with a travel stipend to support in-person collaboration.

When You'll Work

We operate mainly during daytime US hours with some required meetings weekly. We support a flexible schedule and asynchronous collaboration as needed.

What You'll Receive

Salary is determined using market data with reviews every six months. Target OTE for this role is $150,000-$200,000. We offer generous benefits and perks, including:

• Travel stipend up to $4,000/year
• Productivity stipend up to $350/month

Within One Week / One Month / Six Months

• Within one week: Learn about computer vision, our product, customers, and vision.
• Within one month: Onboard in person with your manager; build your first Roboflow project if you haven’t already.
• Within six months: Attend all-company onsite and ramp up on other product areas.
